We are Tibetan Buddhists in the Gelug lineage. His Holiness the Dalai Lama is the spiritual inspiration for our organization and Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche is the spiritual director.

GGBC conducts on-going courses in Buddhist philosophy and practice. We also host special events with authentic teachers in our tradition, including Tibetan lamas, qualified international monks and nuns, experienced Western Dharma students, and specialists in Tibetan arts and medicine.

Weekly Meditation Group in Mountain View every Tuesday evening, 7:30 - 9:00 pm

Monthly day longs and a monthly study group in Campbell, and a monthly study group and periodic non residential retreats in Menlo Park.

Program includes meditation classes, retreats, Day-Long Retreats and individual consultations to support the development of ethical living (sila), the development of meditation (samadhi), and the development of wisdom (panna).

IMSB and our teachers are dedicated to the Buddhist practice of Dana and generosity. Our activities rely upon the generosity of our community in gift or effort.

Insight Meditation South Bay welcomes newcomers, beginning meditators, and seasoned practitioners. We value the presence of new and old friends.
